My equifax credit report is frozen.but I didn't freeze it. How do I get a human being on the phone to help me? Does anyone know if I have to unfreeze my Experian credit report, or is that only when setting up a MySocialSecurity account? Turns out my credit freeze was in fact placed via the automated system and a PIN was mailed to arrive in 5-7 business days. Ironically I just opened a letter from equifax informing me of my freeze Go to the website email the email requesting a freeze. They’ll send you a secure email portal you go into and then you can respond with that email filling out their short form, attaching picture of passport and a redacted paystub/w2.
